Some tips to help you get the best results from your treatments.

Facial Treatments

Before your Facial Treatment

  • Wear sunscreen everyday before and after treatment (365 days of the year)
  • No AHAs, at home peels a week before facial avoid manual exfoliation a few days prior to your treatment.
  • Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated
  • Wait 5-7 after botox and 2 weeks after filler
  • Keep out of the sun the day prior as this can over sensitize the skin.

After your Facial Treatment

  • Wear sunscreen everyday before and after treatment (365 days of the year)
  • No AHAs, at home peels or manual exfoliation a week after your treatment.
  • Avoid excess sweating/ heat, working out within 24 hours of appointment
  • Follow your aftercare instructions
  • Schedule your next appointment= Better results
  • Don't pick or pull flaking skin post peel

Dermaplaning Treatment

Before your Dermaplaning Treatment

  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least one week prior to your appointment.
  • Refrain from using any exfoliating products, such as scrubs or peels, for at least one week prior to the treatment.
  • Please tell us if you have had a recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or other facial procedures.
  • Let your esthetician know about any current skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities you have.

After your Dermaplaning Treatment

  • Protect your skin from the sun by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Avoid prolonged sun exposure for at least one week as your skin will be more sensitive to UV exposure.
  • Do not use chemical or mechanical exfoliants for at least one week after the treatment.
  • Refrain from applying makeup for a few hours following the treatment to allow your skin to breathe and heal.
  • Follow any specific aftercare instructions.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to support your skin's healing process.
  • Avoid touching or picking at your skin, as this can lead to irritation or infection

Massage Treatments

Before your Massage Treatment

  • Ensure your hydrated before your massage this will help prepare your muscles for the manipulation.
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal or consuming alcohol or caffeine before the massage to prevent discomfort and allow for relaxation.
  • Communicate with your therapist if you are taking any medication or have any injuries. Also, any preferences such as areas of tension or pressure preferences.

After your Massage Treatment

  • Drink plenty of water after the massage to help flush out toxins and rehydrate your body.
  • Avoid any strenuous activities or exercises immediately after the massage to allow your body time to rest and recover.
  • Take some time to relax and rest after the massage, allowing your body to fully absorb the benefits of the treatment.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol or caffeine for at least a few hours after the massage to prevent dehydration and to allow for relaxation.
  • Using heat on tension and regular massage can help promote relaxation, muscle recovery, and overall well-being

Lash Lift Treatments

Before your Lash Lifts Treatment

  • Please come to your appointment with clean make up free lashes.

After your Lash Lifts Treatment

  • Avoid excessive steam for 24 hour post lash lift treatment. The steam will make the lift drop out. This includes super hot showers, saunas and spa baths.
  • Do get a lash tint in four weeks as this will refresh the look of your lash lift.
  • Do not use lash curlers. You should not need to but they can snap your lashes.
  • Use a growth serum if you are wanting to grow your lashes.

Brow Appointment

Before your Brow Treatment

  • Please come to you brow appointment with clean skin if possible for the best results, and if you have any specific concerns or preferences for your brow shape or style, communicate them clearly before the appointment.
  • Avoid plucking or shaping your brows for at least 2-3 weeks before your appointment to allow your natural brow shape to be clearly visible.
  • If you are getting a brow wax, avoid using any topical treatments such as retinol, AHA or BHA skincare on your brows for at least a week before the appointment to minimize the risk of irritation as these products thin your skin. Also please discuss if you are taking any antibiotics or medication for your skin waxing may not be suitable for you and we may need to do a patch test.
  • It is recommended to schedule your brow appointment at least a week before any special events or occasions to allow time for any redness or irritation to subside.

After your Brow Treatment

  • Do not tweeze between appointments. This will mean you get a better result at your appointment.
  • Do not apply fake tan directly after your eyebrow tinting appointment. It will alter the colour of your brow tint. If you need you can apply a petroleum jelly.
  • Avoid exfoliating the area or applying products with AHAS/BHA for a week post brow waxing.

Waxing Treatment

Before your Waxing Treatment

  • Exfoliate the area to be waxed 24-48 hours prior to your appointment: This will help remove any dead skin cells and allow for a smoother waxing experience.
  • Come to your appointment with clean skin no moisturiser or deodorant on. If hair is longer than a grain of rice you should trim it especially for bikini and brazilian waxing
  • Avoid sun exposure: Try to avoid sun exposure on the area to be waxed for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive during waxing.
  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol: Avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol before your appointment, as these can cause your skin to be more sensitive.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to your appointment to prevent any rubbing or irritation on the freshly waxed area.
  • Take a pain reliever: If you are concerned about pain during the waxing process, you can take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as ibuprofen, about 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
  • Communicate with your therapist: Be sure to communicate with your therapist if you have any concerns or questions about the process. We are here to make the experience as comfortable as possible for you.

After your Waxing Treatment

  • Wear loose clothing for 24 hours post waxing.
  • Avoid excessive heat or sweating for 24 hour post waxing. Including excerise, sun bathing, saunas and spa baths.
  • If you are prone to ingrown hairs, consider using a gentle exfoliating scrub or exfoilating gloves on the body, 72 hours post wax three times a week or using an ingrown hair treatment regularly to help prevent them from forming.
